A house clearance is rarely just about moving furniture. It often comes at a busy or difficult time, so our job is to take the weight off: to turn up when we say we will, work tidily and respectfully, and leave the property clear and swept.

We handle the whole process from start to finish. You point out anything you want to keep, and we take care of the rest, working room by room so nothing important is missed. Bulky items, awkward access and full lofts are all part of a normal day for us.

What sets a good clearance apart is what happens next. Rather than send everything to a skip, we sort as we go. Good-quality furniture and household items are passed on to people and organisations nearby who can use them, and only what is genuinely beyond use is recycled or disposed of responsibly. We are registered with SEPA to transport waste.

Whether you are a homeowner downsizing, a family clearing a relative’s home, or a landlord turning a property around between tenancies, the approach is the same: clear pricing, careful handling and a property left ready for whatever comes next.

A lived-in bedroom before a house clearance

A clear process, room by room

We work through a property methodically so nothing important is missed. You point out anything to keep or set aside, and we clear the rest, room by room, including the spaces that tend to get forgotten like the loft, garage and shed. Heavy or awkward items are no problem, and we protect floors and doorways as we go. By the time we leave, the property is clear and swept, ready for sale, rental or handover.

What we can clear

  • Full house clearancesEvery room cleared from top to bottom, including loft, garage and shed.

Good items given a second life

A clearance does not have to mean a skip. We sort as we work, setting aside furniture and household items that still have plenty of life left in them. These are passed on to local families and community organisations who can put them to use, including referrals through social work. Only what is genuinely beyond use is recycled or disposed of responsibly, and we are registered with SEPA to transport waste, so you can feel good about where things end up.

Help for families, executors and landlords

Every clearance is different. We help homeowners who are downsizing, families clearing a relative's home after a bereavement, and landlords and letting agents turning a property around between tenancies. For those managing things from a distance, we can arrange access, collect keys and keep you updated throughout, so a clearance is one less thing to worry about.

House clearance questions

What can you remove?

Almost anything you would find in a home: furniture, white goods, carpets, general household items and the contents of lofts, garages and sheds. If you have anything unusual, just ask and we will let you know.

Do I need to be at the property?

Not necessarily. Many clearances are arranged remotely, especially for executors and landlords. We can collect keys by arrangement and keep you updated throughout.

Can I get a quote from photos?

Yes. A few photos and the postcode are usually enough for a free, no-obligation quote. For larger jobs we can arrange a quick visit.

What happens to everything you clear?

Wherever possible, usable items are passed on to local families and community organisations. Anything that cannot be reused is recycled or disposed of responsibly. We are registered with SEPA to transport waste.
